WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- The Penn College women's soccer team earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year for the eighth time in program history.
Penn College posted a 3.37 grade point average.
"This recognition is a testament to our student-athletes putting in the hard work off the field," said Penn College coach
Ian Scheller. "I'm very proud of our team's accomplishments and their continued efforts to focus on academics."
A total of 697 soccer teams (283 men, 414 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 151 schools, including Penn College, had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
